Christmas Pictionary words: 40 ideas to draw

Updated: 2026-10-24

Good Christmas Pictionary words are things you can draw in a few lines: a snowman, a candy cane, a sleigh. Below you find 40 words in four lists, from easy words for kids to hard ones for adults, plus a list for the office party.

Copy the words onto slips of paper and put each list in its own bowl. You need paper or a whiteboard, pens and a timer. Rules, scoring and an online version for remote teams are below the lists.

How to play

  1. Split into two or more teams. Each team plays in turn.
  2. The player draws a slip and has 60 seconds to draw the word. No letters, no numbers, no talking.
  3. Their own team guesses. If they get it in time, the team scores.
  4. Easy words give 1 point, medium 2, office and hard words 3.
  5. After three rounds, the team with the most points wins.
