Company trivia questions for employees: 20 templates you can fill in
Updated: 2026-10-20
The round about your own company is the one people talk about the next day. No search engine knows how many cups of coffee your team drinks or which city your first customer was in. That makes it fair for everyone, including new colleagues, as long as the questions are about the team and not about one person's private life.
Below are 20 question templates in five categories. Fill in your facts in the brackets, turn each into A to D answer options and you have a 10 to 15 question company round. At the end you find the rules that keep it kind.

The games
1. Two truths and a holiday lie
Each person shares three short holiday facts about themselves; the others guess which one is invented. Keep it to holiday topics (worst gift, family tradition) so nobody overshares.
Players: 4 to 12 per group
Time: 10 to 20 min
Materials: None
2. Estimation jar
Fill a jar with sweets or baubles; guests write their guess on a slip. Closest guess wins the jar. Zero pressure, zero explanation needed.
Players: Any
Time: Background
Materials: Jar, sweets, slips, pen
Host tips
Collect facts with a short form one or two weeks ahead and ask two colleagues to check them. Wrong facts are the only thing that ruins this round.
Ask every person who appears in a question beforehand. Only use facts they chose to share.
Leave out weight, age, relationships, salaries and mistakes. Questions about the team work better than questions about one person.
Give 2 points per question in the company round. It is the round everyone can win.
